BigGirl Diary 2

The first step was to take a clean print out of my computer-generated drawing, blow it up via photocopy to the size of my board, 20 x 24 inches, and transfer the design. The picture shows the outline, line art. It was done with black unglazed wall tile. This is the only real tile in the piece. Most of the rest is broken dishes, and some glass and rocks here and there. You may notice that she has no mouth. I had a lip print from one of those cheesy ceramic things you get on Valentine's Day. The problem is that it was way to big for her face and she looked like Mick Jagger, so I pulled it out.
